About Hadley

Hadley Spadaccini is the founder of Cassowary Research Services, a consultancy providing technology and geopolitical analysis with a focus on supply chain intelligence, AI strategy, and China policy. She holds a BS in Computational Mathematics, an MA in Asian Studies, and an MA in Political Economy (Quantitative) earned through a Fulbright fellowship at the Taipei School of Economics.

Hadley has advised executive leaders and policymakers on emerging technology risks, briefed audiences of more than 4,000 across public and private sectors, and collaborated with global banks, other financial institutions, and public sector agencies on AI deployment, data security, and effective utilization. She has collaborated with leading Washington, D.C.–based think tanks and defense contractors, where she supported research on China’s industrial policy, economic statecraft, and supply chain resilience.

  • Provides end-to-end analysis of supply chain, sanctions, and compliance risks. Projects include tracing forced-labor exposure under the Uyghur Forced Labor Prevention Act, identifying linkages between PLA-affiliated entities and global suppliers, and delivering OSINT analyses to private clients.

  • Applies econometric, optimization, and time-series methods to understand policy, trade, and investment outcomes. Quantitative expertise supports evidence-based recommendations that inform both strategic planning and operational decisions.

  • Transforms complex geopolitical and technological themes into actionable insights for decision-makers. Hadley has delivered keynote presentations to audiences exceeding 4,000 and regularly presents research and policy findings at conferences and closed-door sessions.

  • Fluent in Mandarin and French, with professional experience across Asia, Europe, and North America. Has collaborated with Belgian, Chinese, Canadian, French, Taiwanese, Burmese, and US partners – offering clients a cross-cultural perspective on technology and security landscapes.
